FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Normandy is one of the 13 administrative regions of mainland France and encompasses approximately 18% of the French territory. That being said, even a few hours is enough to visit some of the most iconic Normandy sights like the D-Day beaches, Mont Saint Michel, Caen or Bayeux.
If you have your own transport (e.g coach, mini-bus) you can hire our professional English-speaking guide regardless of the size of your group. Otherwise, all of our tours are private and your party may count up to 8 PAX. A price per person does not apply to any of our tours.
Yes. This type of service is dedicated to customers who are looking to hire a guide and enjoy a personalised experience while travelling in the comfort of a vehicle of their choice (e.g. rental car, van, mini-bus, coach)
Bayeux is the ideal point of departure for any tour covering the American landing beaches as well as the Anglo-Canadian sectors. Located in the center of the D-Day assault area, this small Norman town can accommodate even the most exigent traveler thanks to its numerous hotels and restaurants.
Lunch may be regarded as part of the experience. All tours spanning 5+ hours include a lunch stop so you will have sufficient time to enjoy a meal in the French countryside. No food or beverages are to be consumed in the van. On the other hand, we do provide our customers with bottled water at no extra cost.

Therefore, we would strongly advise you to pack some waterproof clothes as well as some robust — but comfortable — footwear (especially when planning on touring the D-Day beaches).
